  Martyn
Atack is the founder and Managing Director of Atack Industries,
and is the primary consultant for the company. He started
the business after many years developing food products and processes
for companies such as EasiYo Products Ltd, Tip Top Ice Cream
Co and Kapiti Cheese.
During his time with Tip Top Martyn was responsible for the development of the
hugely successful Moritz and Paradiso ice cream novelties.
Education: Martyn obtained his Bachelor of Technology in Food
Technology from Massey University in 1991. He has additional training
in Food Safety/Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) from
Massey, numerous courses on Product Development, Project Management,
and Sensory Evaluation. He keeps current by regularly
attending refresher courses in these and other related areas.
Current Activities: In addition to product development for
several Auckland food companies, Martyn has become an expert in food
labelling legislation. He has developed a system to speed the compliance
process. He regularly presents and writes on this topic.
